New Years and Carnival are our biggest scheduled events of the year, and the dates
for Carnival shift a little each year depending on when Ash Wednesday falls.

But any time we have more than 3 guest couples is a time to celebrate.
We recommend that the ladies pack their best lingerie because there’s no telling
when Paulo might call for a Masked Ball. (After dinner the ladies retire to their rooms
to put on the lingerie and their masks. When they return the men have to identify the
women just by their lingerie.)

Other spontaneous parties or celebrations are based upon Paulo’s reading
of the couple’s moods, be ready for anything.
